What happens if I purchase the wrong size sweater?
The wool used in our sweaters are all natural fibres and therefore there will be some variance in each sweater. If the sweater you purchased feels slightly tight give it a gentle stretch and this should loosen the fibres and sweater will fit you better. If however the sizing is still wrong we will be happy to replace your garment for one that would fit you better, once the garment is returned to us within 21 days of delivery complete with labels, swing tickets etc. Aran Sweaters Direct will cover the Courtier charge for the replacement product, BUT NOT the carrier costs incurred by the customer in returning the sweater to our store.

How do I store my sweater?
Ensure your sweater is clean and stored in a dry environment. An air tight container is best if it is available.

How do I care for my new garment?
As with any high quality knitwear product try and wash it as little as possible and air it frequently. We call this ‘wind-washing’, hang your garment out in the air and you will be amazed at how fresh it becomes. Please ensure never to machine wash your sweater; they should be washed by hand using wool washing detergent and in cool water below 30 degrees celsius. Always dry your sweater flat and please ensure you never use a tumble drier.

I want to give this as a gift and don’t want to order if it’s not in stock. What can you do?
Our website is constantly updated and we have live stock control in place. Usually, any sweater that is available to purchase on the website is in stock. Feel free to email our support team on customercare@aransweatersdirect.com if you want clarification on any product.

I need the garment urgently, how can you help?
At Aran Sweaters Direct we only use the most trusted shipping partners. We ship all our products via Fedex and can assure you that your product will arrive in the quickest possible time. All our orders are tracked via The Fedex portal which keep you updated on the arrival of your product. If you require your product quicker feel free to email us on customercare@aransweatersdirect.com and our support team can try and help

What about taxes and/or duties for orders to an address outside Ireland?
Any taxes and/or duties on your order will NOT be included in your online total. The carrier will charge the package recipient all applicable duty, taxes and/or brokerage fees at time of delivery. Since we do not charge, or collect these taxes, they won’t be included in your online total. Please contact your local customs office for more information regarding these charges.

Is it safe to give my credit card details over the internet or phone?
We would like to provide you with a safe and secure online experience with us. We accept all major credit cards. You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information.

Will you protect my privacy?
We are 100% committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to make shopping at www.aransweatersdirect.com possible. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
